Rx-7 Project

Wow, it's been a while since I have posted.

I haven't done too much on the Rx recently, but I did a bunch of little things.

Here is a picture of the back of the car; here I did a little bit of texturing and some little adjustments.

Here is a picture of the side/front of the car. As you can see, I have some texturing done up in the front, and I tightened some of the edges. Also on the door/side panel I added the side air vent.

So far for updates I have done all the lights, added a wheel well thing, done more touch-ups, fixed some of the glass, added more details to the back. Here are some pictures:

Well, I have fixed some of the holes on my McLaren, I added glass :-D ;-), added an interior to the headlights, covered those with glass also. Things left: Interior, Head light fixtures, Tail lights, ?Plates?...

I have been expirimenting with new techniques for modelling cars. Since I like the reference images I have for the McLaren so much, I am still doing that car! It's getting better and better every time I redo it though, which is a good sign! Above I have a picture of the different parts that are in the car, then below is a picture of all the stuff colored correctly. Note, This is only the base model, I don't have the tires/rear view mirrors/ head and tail lights/ etc yet, also this model is not subdivided (smoothed).

Here is a render with the windows all inplace, I am going to add more decals (door outlines, rear-view mirrors, door handles) tomarrow, this is the final render for tonight. I am still playing with colors to see which one I like best, rigt now I am leaning towards black....

Although it may seem to be not very much, this is my start at modelling a Mclaren F1. If some of you don't know what that is (besides a car) I can sum it in in two words, VERY FAST. This car might take me longer than usual, becuase I am employing a new modelling technique. So that is why I am going to be posting progressive pictures. Enjoy!

The is a house scene I made a few days ago, I had some problems (Render couldn't clear the memory) So the render didn't happen. So I fixed a couple things, made the scene less detailed and re-rendered.

This is only the first version, I will add more details soon. Like a little more background, maybe a tree or a river (ouch!).
